GLORIA AND MARCO CHARITY (GEM)
GeM at Querini Stampalia on 24 03 2022. Laura Morgante and Alexandra Valmarana are organising this fundraiser on behalf of GLORIA E MARCO See below for details

Gloria Trevisan and her fiancé Marco Gottardi, both young and talented graduate architects from Italy, died tragically on the 23rd Floor of the Grenfell Tower during the fire in London on 14 June 2017.
Gloria had just begun working at the London firm, Peregrine Bryant Architects, and the practice was naturally devastated by her and Marco’s death and mourned the loss of two young lives whose work was full of promise.
Out of the grim horror of the disaster, a memorial was funded in their name and the Gloria e Marco Charity (GeM) was founded to provide an annual award to foster an exchange and help talented Italian graduates, to study and gain experience in architectural conservation in the UK and to offer a reciprocal experience to a UK student in Italy.
Our mission is to ensure that through the good experiences of others, the architectural disaster at Grenfell and the loss of these two talented young architects, Gloria and Marco, may not be forgotten.
