GeM (Gloria e Marco) is a charity set up in memory of Gloria Trevisan and Marco Gottardi.

Gloria and Marco were two talented, young architects who tragically died on the 23rd floor of the Grenfell Tower fire. The couple were engaged to be married and had only recently moved to London. Gloria had begun working at the London firm, Peregrine Bryant Architects.

Out of the grim horror of the disaster, a foundation was formed in their name and the Gloria e Marco Charity (GeM) was established.

GeM aims to provide an annual scholarship award to help talented Italian graduates study and gain experience in architectural conservation in the UK, and to offer a reciprocal experience to a UK student in Italy.

Our mission is to ensure that by passing on their love of architecture and their love for each other, the disaster at Grenfell and the loss of these two talented young souls, Gloria and Marco, will never be forgotten.
